Get answers to common questions about Classic Set (with Kay).
A full Classic Set appointment with Kay typically takes 60–90 minutes, including consultation, lash mapping, and application. Timing varies by natural lash condition and desired customization. Please arrive without eye makeup to ensure a smooth, hygienic process.
Avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours so adhesive can fully cure. After that period you may shower normally—pat lashes dry and avoid oil-based products to protect retention.
When applied correctly by Kay using one extension per natural lash and proper isolation, Classic sets should not damage natural lashes. Follow aftercare instructions, schedule regular fills, and avoid picking to maintain lash health.
We recommend fills every 2–3 weeks to replace naturally shed lashes and maintain fullness. Kay will advise based on your lash growth cycle, lifestyle, and desired density for a customized refill schedule.
Mascara is not recommended, as it can clump and shorten extension life. If necessary, use a water-based, extension-safe mascara sparingly and avoid waterproof formulas and oil-based removers.
Avoid steam, saunas, swimming, heavy workouts, and oil-based skincare for 24–48 hours to protect the adhesive. Also refrain from rubbing, picking, or sleeping face-down to preserve extension placement.
