Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lash lift.

A Lash lift typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle, aftercare and exposure to oils. Regular touch-ups are recommended as lashes shed naturally; scheduling every 6–8 weeks keeps the lifted look consistent.

When performed correctly by a trained technician using quality products, a Lash lift should not damage your natural lashes. Proper aftercare and avoiding harsh oils or mechanical tugging help maintain lash health and minimize breakage.

You can wear mascara after your Lash lift once the lift is fully set—typically 24–48 hours. Combining a Lash lift with extensions is not recommended, as extensions adhere differently; choose one service for best results or consult your technician for options.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid waterproof mascaras or oils for 24 hours prior. Bring contact lens case if you wear contacts—removing lenses during the treatment ensures comfort and safety for both client and technician.

Avoid water, steam, swimming, and heavy sweating for 24–48 hours. Skip oil-based products and rubbing your eyes. Use gentle, lash-friendly cleansers and a nourishing serum if recommended to extend the lift and protect lash strength.

Clients with active eye infections, recent eye surgery, very sparse or brittle lashes, or known sensitivities to perming solutions should avoid Lash lifts. A consultation and patch test can determine suitability and recommend safer alternatives like tinted lifts or brow lamination.
